An authentic Diwali Yoga Celebration, the Indian Festival of Lights!
Tofte Manor is a stunning 17th century Manor House, located in a quintessentially English village, just one hour from Cambridge and London.
Tofte Manor is an historic building of exceptional beauty, held in stunning, landscaped gardens. The architecture has been exquisitely restored and it is a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate and be inspired.
The glorious gardens offer nature’s beauty, serenity and space. As you wander, you will encounter sweeping lawns, rose arbours, ancient trees, ageless statues, a crystal ball water feature and an enchanting stone labyrinth.
The Manor House offers luxurious bedrooms, created with imagination and artistic attention to detail for your comfort. The old Stables Courtyard has also been carefully restored and converted into beautifully designed contemporary cottages.
Our morning yoga sadhana will take place in the exquisite Crystal Room, overlooking the parterre gardens. Afternoon classes will be offered in the Yoga Yurt, a natural mandala for total well-being.
On waking up in this stunning location, we will do a blissful sunrise sadhana. Moving through beautiful sequencing and creative namaskars, we will explore Diwali inspired Vinyasa Flow and Dharma Yoga surrounded by fairy lights and lanterns. These soulful practices create a sense of lightness and radiance, leaving you feeling lovingly uplifted and alive. In the afternoons, we will retreat to the Yoga Yurt to share an introspective Yin Yoga and meditation mandala, allowing your being to rest, rejuvenate and renew. Our closing sadhana will be serenaded by ambient live music and a resonant sound bath to celebrate the Indian Festival of Lights.
In your free time, enjoy the magical surroundings of this historic Manor, the landscaped gardens, ancient woodland, elemental and earth stone labyrinths. Indulge in a luxurious massage or crystal healing. In the evenings, we will share an outdoor fire circle to cultivate friendship and connection and yoga nidra for deep healing relaxation.
