Anatomy & Physiology with Chris Swain
Chris graduated as an award winning osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000 after a four year full time course, with an honours degree in osteopathy. His university education included a year of human dissection studies at Guy’s Hospital in London. Combined with 30 years experience as a yoga teacher, he also specializes in teaching anatomy to yoga teacher trainees, being on the faculty for several yoga teacher training courses including Triyoga in London. Chris’s extensive knowledge and experience of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics will provide an exceptional education for yoga teachers to build their classes with understanding, clarity and integrity.
Philosophy with Heidi Pascual & Alistair Shearer
Alistair Shearer is a writer, photographer and cultural historian, specialising in India. He is an authority on ancient Hindu philosophy, the spiritual traditions of yoga and has lectured at the prestigious British Museum and London University. Alistair is well-known for his lucid translations of The Upanishads, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and his lively, engaging lecture style. Additionally, Alistair has published twelve inspirational books about Indian life, culture and art. He is a longtime teacher of meditation, leading regular meditation retreats and courses. Alistair is the co-founder of Neeleshwar Hermitage, the award-winning retreat hotel in Kerala, South India.
Voice Work & Chanting with Gavin Frank
Gavin Frank is a singer, voice facilitator, Kirtan leader, musician, recording artist and composer. He has a music degree and trained with Chloe Goodchild for ten years. He has been empowering people to find, embody and express the fullness of their own true voice for the last seventeen years
He is based in London, leading regular chanting groups, voice workshops and individual sessions. He also performs and records in the duo Madrum and has recently performed at the Barbican with renowned choreographer and dancer Darren Johnston.
Marketing with Katie Kennedy
Katie Kennedy is a creative graphic designer, illustrator and workshop artist, specialising in design and marketing materials for print and digital formats. Katie has extensive experience working with a wide range of businesses and individuals, from start-ups through to more established companies, putting effective design at the forefront of their marketing strategies. Katie also delivers art, architecture, animation and design workshops for museums and galleries throughout the UK.
