‘The depth and breadth of knowledge which Heidi shares with all of her heart is absolutely phenomenal and deeply transformative!’

Enhance the Arts of Yoga Teacher Training is designed for Yoga Teachers to gain new knowledge, insight and skills, enabling you to teach with renewed confidence, creativity and authenticity. This training invites you to take the next step on your yoga journey to enhance your sadhana, elevate your knowledge and skills, inspire renewed enthusiasm and passion on this path that is your own heart’s calling.

The mornings of this teacher training course are dedicated to deepening your sadhana. There will be an immersive, experiential exploration of the Art of Pranayama through sequenced pranayama techniques, kriya and esoteric practices. You will enhance your asana practice, exploring authentic, creatively-inspired Vinyasa Flow and Dharma Yoga. Our sadhana moves through beautiful sequencing; creative krama and transitions; binds and back bends; arm balances and inversions.

You will experience an insightful and inspirational lecture with Daniel Simpson, exploring the Power of Pranayama. Weaving together yoga history and philosophy, Daniel’s session explains the significance of subtle anatomy, including nadis and chakras to show how the power of pranayama works to transform the practitioner.

The following afternoons will be dedicated to exploring the Art of Yoga Assists. Yoga assists are one of the most effective ways to enhance your students’ understanding and performance of a pose; creating a clear imprint of what is possible with intelligent alignment of asana. Skilful adjustments and assists will revolutionise your teaching practice and methodology, enabling your students to find their highest potential.

Heidi Pascual holds the E-RYT 500 designation from Yoga Alliance therefore, this training can be used to gain 25 Continued Professional Development hours by certified Yoga Alliance teachers.

The Mornings at 10am – 1pm
Deepen Your Sadhana

The Art of Pranayama will open each training day. This is a complete one hour sequence of pranayama techniques, kriya, bandha and meditation. Authentic teaching of these ancient practices truly arises from direct experience.

The Art of Asana follows our pranayama practice. You will explore authentic, creative, themed Vinyasa Flow and Dharma Yoga. Our sadhana moves through beautiful sequencing; creative krama and transitions; binds and back bends; arm balances and inversions.

The Afternoons at 2 – 5.30pm
The Power of Pranayama with Daniel Simpson

Daniel Simpson shares an in-depth exploration on the power of pranayama. For most of the history of yoga, control of the breath was the main technique of physical practice. Weaving together yoga history and philosophy, Daniel’s session will explain the significance of subtle anatomy, including nadis and chakras to show how the power of pranayama works to transform the practitioner. We will also see the links between Tantra and hatha yoga, which combined pranayama with other techniques including asana, providing a foundation for modern postural methods.

The Art of Yoga Assists

The Art of Yoga Assists are one of the most effective ways to enhance your students’ understanding and performance of a pose; creating a clear imprint of what is possible with intelligent alignment of asana. Skilful adjustments and assists will revolutionise your teaching practice and methodology, enabling your students to find their highest potential.

The Art of Yoga Assists session will include: surya namaskar, sagittal, coronal and transverse asana, back bends, inversions and seated postures. There will be opportunities to clarify and deepen your understanding of asana and alignment within the sessions.

The Teachers

Heidi Pascual

I have twenty years experience teaching across the globe in different specialisms; a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in English and ten years experience as a Yoga Teacher. I have a successful full-time career, sharing Vinyasa Flow, Dharma Yoga and Yin Yoga classes, workshops, festivals, worldwide retreats and Yoga Teacher Trainings. My yoga journey expanded spontaneously and rapidly, unfolding with many enriching experiences, colourful travels, beautiful friendships and soul growth.

I have completed over a thousand hours of training with international tutors who have instilled inspiration and authenticity into my yoga practice and teaching. My extensive travels in India also allowed authentic insight into the history, tradition and practice of yoga.

As a writer and teacher of literature, I am innately inspired by language and art; therefore creative narrative, mythic story and philosophy infuse my choreography. I offer an authentic sadhana space through precise use of Sanskrit language, yoga philosophy and traditional texts. These creative qualities are woven within precise alignment of classical asana. I offer yoga assists and adjustments throughout my classes to align and enhance postures, opening space for partner assists and play within the class.

I hold the E-RYT 500 designation from Yoga Alliance and I have received Excellence in Yoga Teacher Training Awards. It is a joy to share my knowledge and experience with you in this Enhance the Arts of Yoga Teacher Training for Yoga Teachers.
