Lotus Love Yoga Retreats are my absolute Joy! Happiness is my Highest intention because when people experience inspiration, friendship, love and connection they feel moments of happiness and this is nurture – nourishment for the body, mind, soul. Bhavana is the deeper feeling place of the highest love, beyond the surface waves of mind and emotions. Yet, happiness is a quality of sattva, spiritual luminosity and this awakens insight to ananda, the innermost bliss that is your true nature. This is what I love to cultivate through the sadhana and sangha of yoga. This is why I do what I do!
You are so welcome to join us somewhere wonderful in the world.

Yoga and Creative Writing Retreat
24 September – 30 September
Join us on a six-day yoga and creative writing escape at Vericoco Retreat, a peaceful retreat on the idyllic island of Kefalonia. This paradise of white sand beaches lapped by the crystal-clear Ionian Sea is one of the most beautiful Greek Islands.
You’ll start to relax the moment you arrive at Vericoco, an oasis of calm amid olive groves with views of mighty Mount Aenos and a short stroll from the soft sand of Spartia Beach. Its large, lush grounds are centred around a main house and dotted with various villas, fruit tree groves and a scenic swimming pool – perfect for diving into after a day spent practising yoga and immersing yourself in nature exploring the surrounding forests, caves and beaches.
Accommodation’s varied at Vericoco, from suites in the main house to apartments, beach houses and villas dotted around the grounds, each with a combination of double and twin bedrooms and views of the surrounding forest and sea. Decor’s in keeping with the retreat’s calm vibe, think earthtoned walls, white cotton linen and the occasional splash of colour through exquisite art, cushions and and wall-hangings.
On waking in this stunning location, we’ll do a blissful sunrise sadhana in the open-air yoga deck in a secret garden overlooking the Ionian Sea. Moving through beautiful sequencing and creative namaskars, we’ll explore Mythical Vinyasa Flow and inspired Dharma Yoga. These soulful practices create a sense of lightness and radiance, leaving you feeling lovingly uplifted and alive. On some afternoons, we will surrender to a restorative Yin Yoga practice, allowing your being to rest, renew and rejuvenate.
There’ll also be the chance to tap into your creative side on one of Amanda’s writing workshops, including learning the skills needed to produce original travel features and get them published. Additional fun, inspiring sessions will explore why, how and what you want to write with a chance to generate ideas with others and unleash your inner novelist.
Mid-week, join a day-long snorkelling trip with marine biologist Leanne on a boat trip exploring the natural wonders of the Ionian Sea, home to rare turtles and dolphins.
Meals are a treat of home-cooked Mediterranean and Greek fare created using local, organic produce and vegetables fresh from the estate’s garden. At night, we’ll gather around the long alfresco tables beside the outside kitchen and socialise beneath the stars, perhaps sampling a glass or two of Vericoco’s very own wine.
