Summer Solstice Yoga Retreat
11 – 13 June 2021
Tofte Manor, Sharnbrook
A Summer Solstice Yoga celebration! Exquisite surroundings, natural beauty, labyrinths, live music, creative food and friendship!
Tofte Manor is a stunning 17th century Manor House, located in the quintessentially English village of Sharnbrook.
Tofte Manor is an historic building of exceptional beauty, held in stunning, landscaped gardens. The architecture has been exquisitely restored and it is a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate and be inspired.
The glorious gardens offer nature’s beauty, serenity and space. As you wander, you encounter sweeping lawns, rose arbours, ancient trees, ageless statues, a crystal ball water feature and an enchanting stone labyrinth.
The Manor House offers luxurious bedrooms, created with imagination and attention to detail for your comfort. The old Stables Courtyard has also been carefully restored and converted into beautifully designed contemporary cottages.
We shared a blissful sunrise sadhana in the beautiful Crystal Room, overlooking the parterre gardens. Moving through beautiful sequencing and creative namaskars, we explored Mythic Vinyasa Flow and inspired Dharma Yoga. These soulful practices held the light and radiance of the Solstice, leaving yogis feeling lovingly uplifted and alive. In the afternoons, we surrendered to a restorative Yin Yoga practice, allowing yogis to rest, renew and rejuvenate. Our closing sadhana was serenaded and uplifted with live music by Gina Vermilio. In the evening, we released into a deep healing yoga nidra practice, shared in the peaceful Sanctuary, a harmonious soul space for total well-being.
In their free time, yogis enjoyed the magical surroundings of this historic Manor: the landscaped gardens, ancient woodland, stone labyrinth and outdoor pool. We shared the sunshine of the Solstice, the beauty of nature, the joy of yoga and the love of friendship!
Happiness is my highest intention!
Love and connection is truly why I do what I do – namaste!
