Lotus Love Yoga Teacher Training Retreat

Potash Barns, Suffolk
3-6 June 2021

Our Yoga Teacher Training Retreat took in place in the beautiful, natural surroundings of Potash Barns in Suffolk. We shared the love of yoga, nature, sunshine, food and friendship!

Potash Barns is a beautiful 15th century Hall House, located in the quintessentially English village of Brundel, Suffolk. Potash Barns is an historic building with medieval origins and Victorian architecture. It is a place of peaceful beauty, surrounded by English gardens, colourful flowers, blossom trees, willow trees, countryside and woodland.

The Hall House and Old Oak Barn have been beautifully restored, retaining original charm, flooring, beams and wood burner in the fire place. There is a luxurious yet homely ambience created throughout for yogis to relax and connect. The bedrooms are uniquely designed with original features, countryside views and comfort.

We shared a blissful sunrise sadhana in the beautiful yoga studio. The floor to ceiling windows to the east and west offer stunning sunrise and sunset views of the gardens and buttercup meadow. We immersed in yoga asana and pranayama; yoga philosophy and mythology; mudra and meditation. On this retreat, teacher trainees integrated the knowledge and skills acquired on our training and channelled their learning to develop unique teaching techniques and style. We explored the Art of Yoga Assists to enhance their teaching skills. This retreat was an opportunity for students to cultivate and elevate their yoga experience to become abundant and authentic yoga teachers.

In their free time, yogis enjoyed the beautiful gardens and countryside walks around Potash Barns. In the evenings we shared delicious, vegan, culturally inspired food, satsang, a fire pit and blissful yoga nidra.

The beautiful bonds between this sangha of Yoga Teacher Trainees has absolutely become true friendship. Thank you for your presence, love, laughter and truly blessed time together!

Happiness is my highest intention! Love and connection is truly why I do what I do – namaste!
