I taught my first international yoga retreat at Neeleshwar Hermitage in Kerala this year and our Indian yoga home will stay in my heart forever. The vibrant beauty of nature, the rolling Arabian Sea and the golden Indian sun welcomed our mandala of community.

Indian colours that dance for the sun,
Soft light on the dawn of day,
The soul in the sky, an infinite blue,
Skyline of palms, an emerald wave.
Golden sands of sun light rays,
Rhythms of rolling ocean,
Waves like pearls in folds of silk,

International Festival of Yoga 2015 – Rishikesh, India
Rishikesh is a truly magical place, located in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas. The deep, green River Ganga flows peacefully through the forested valley. Rishis, sages and yogacharyas have come to these Himalayan hills for thousands of years, seeking spiritual truth and freedom.
