Love to Flow Yoga Retreat

Cliffs of Moher, County Clare,  Ireland
22 – 25 September 2016

Our autumn yoga retreat took place at the stunning Cliffs of Moher Retreat. Our beautiful farmhouse was located in ten acres of rolling, green farmland, just a few fields from the world famous Cliffs of Moher. At the light of sunrise and the colour of sunset, the dramatic, rolling ocean waves break upon the rocks and bay. We immersed in the power of nature’s beauty.

Teen Yoga Retreat

Inner Guidance Retreat Centre
24th August 2016

Hill Farm is a beautiful, 500 year old, tudor retreat centre. It is set on a hill within three acres of peaceful farmland, located just outside the historic, medieval village of Lavenham.

In the morning, we experienced a water element Vinyasa Flow class, incorporating creative sequencing, arms balance, handstand and back bends. This dynamic, yet soulful practice was balanced with a sweet blend of restorative yoga to harmonise the body, mind and soul.

Summer Solstice Yoga Celebration – with Live Music

blog

The summer solstice is a celebration of life, light, happiness and abundance. We expressed this ancient, Celtic festival through a dance of breath and movement, a yoga tandava. This experience was enhanced by the ambient, Indian sounds of the sitar, played live by Finn Petcher and the soulful songs of April Rose Moodie. Read More…

International Festival of Yoga 2015 – Rishikesh, India

RishikeshRishikesh is a truly magical place, located in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas. The deep, green River Ganga flows peacefully through the forested valley. Rishis, sages and yogacharyas have come to these Himalayan hills for thousands of years, seeking spiritual truth and freedom.

It is said that yoga originated in Rishikesh, evolving from the practice of deep meditation. These hills of the Ganges are a timeless spiritual pilgrimage, made famous in the west by The Beatles, who came seeking spiritual truth, one love and world peace. Their legacy of love and peace is the satsang of western yogis, hippies and spiritual seekers in Rishikesh today. Read More…

Spring Equinox

1The spring equinox will take place on March 20th in 2015. ‘Equinox’ is a Latin word, meaning ‘equal night’; therefore an equinox signifies a moment when the length of day and night are almost equal.

During the course of a year, the Earth completes one orbit around the sun. When the sun is crossing the celestial equator (the projection of the equator in the sky), the Earth’s equator and the centre of the sun are directly aligned. Day and night are of nearly equal length, creating universal balance and harmony.

The direction of the sun on the Spring Equinox is upward (northern hemisphere), so it is a time to rise with the rhythms of nature; light and lifted towards a deep sky and golden sun. Read More…
